Device to evaluate the pick start, conform ISO 3783
The point where picking begins is the point at which the damage on the surface of the paper can be perceived with the naked eye.
Since pick test oils are transparent, the starting point of the picking can sometimes be hard to see and differences between the people assessing may occur.
To a large extent, the pick-start viewer PSV can prevent this problem.
Using the Pick Start Viewer, one is forced to look at the print from a fixed angle and by grazing incidence light.
