英國陶瓷研究協會（British Ceramic Research Association，簡稱BCRA）成立于1948年4月，歷史悠久，是由1920 年成立的英國耐火材料研究協會和1937 年成立的英國陶器研究協會合并而成。BCRA是目前世界上較大的陶瓷技術研究組織，其業務范圍幾乎涵蓋了所有陶瓷領域（日用陶瓷、工程陶瓷、建筑衛生陶瓷、耐火材料、粗陶建筑制品（磚瓦、陶管等）、電瓷等），包括調查研究、評估、制造、試用檢測，研究對象從原材料到成品及產品程序。BCRA有經驗豐富的專家隊伍提供深入的服務，這種從一般的產品和原材料的檢測到協助開發新產品、改進或引進工藝技術的專業化服務，對制造工業具有十分重要的意義。

BCRA提供的陶瓷標準顏色板是業界常用的顏色標準，用于標定光譜分光式色度計，包括半球光路測試條件和 d/d 測試條件，平時被叫做BCRA陶瓷標準色板。

BCRA Series II色板的尺寸：5cm×5cm，共包括14塊板：
